Overview - What is QuizKoba?
QuizKoba is my independent project, an interactive learning platform that I am architecting as a UI/UX and Product Designer. Originally focused on Grades 1–4, I am currently evolving the platform with a more modern, universal UI/UX designed for a general audience. To streamline the development, I leverage Claude for design prompting and frontend iteration, bridging my creative vision with my expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The project is powered by a robust Supabase backend for database and authentication management, with the entire codebase versioned on GitHub and deployed via Netlify for a seamless CI/CD pipeline. While the platform is built to support AI generation, I am currently in a Human-in-the-Loop phase, personally overseeing content quality to ensure every article and quiz remains accurate and engaging.

The Problem - Why this product needed to exist
Most reading platforms for young kids separate content from comprehension. Children read an article and have no immediate way to check if they understood it. The feedback loop is broken — or outsourced to a teacher.
The Challenge (Text Module)
Closing the Comprehension Gap Most reading platforms for young children separate the content from the assessment. I wanted to solve the "broken feedback loop" by creating a seamless experience where children read a short article and immediately test their understanding.
Key Requirements:
Engagement: Age-appropriate content for kids aged 6–10.
Accessibility: Fully free, no sign-ups or paywalls required.
Scale: A large library of content across English, Science, History, Olympiad and more.
The Solution & Tech Stack (Grid/Text Module):
Headline: A $25 Infrastructure Solo Build By leveraging AI as a co-engineer, I built the entire content strategy, frontend design, and backend logic as a single developer.
Frontend: Responsive UI built with Bootstrap 5 and custom CSS.
Backend: Logic-driven quiz engine using JSON data and JavaScript.
Deployment: Automated CI/CD pipeline via GitHub and Netlify.
AI Partnership: Used Claude for component design, debugging, and content generation.
AI in Action: Scaling Content (Text Module)
The Power of AI Co-Engineering I utilized AI to act as a force multiplier across four key areas:
Content at Scale: Generated 200+ articles calibrated for Grade 1–4 reading levels.
Quiz Engineering: Created 100+ quizzes with instant scoring and smart distractors.
UI/UX: Scaffolded and debugged the frontend layer for high performance.
DevOps: Guided the repository structure and performance optimization.
Project Results (Impact/Metrics Module)
180+ Articles Published
1000+ Interactive Quizzes
$25 Infrastructure Cost (GitHub + Netlify + Supabase + Claude)
Less than 1MB overall files.

As an UI/UX/Product designer managed the full product lifecycle from concept and development to deployment and ongoing updates as a solo full-stack developer.
Key Learnings:
Efficiency: AI tools allow a single person to ship a full product in the time it once took a team.
Content Pipelines: Structured content benefits heavily from AI-driven generation that maintains quality at scale.
Focus: The hardest part of modern development isn't the code—it’s the vision and quality control.
